Accepted Answer

- All accommodations  
- Group transfer from the airport to the hotel on the day prior to embarkation;  
- Group transfer to the ship for embarkation on Day 2;  
- Shipboard accommodation;  
- All meals on board throughout the voyage;  
- Tea and coffee station 24 hours daily;  
- All scheduled landings/excursions (subject to weather and ice conditions);  
- Leadership throughout the voyage by our experienced Expedition Leader and Expedition Team;  
- Branded Expedition parka;  
- Rubber boots for shore landings for the time of the cruise;  
- Welcome and Farewell cocktails;  
- All port fees;  
- Group transfer to airport or central location right after disembarkation;  
- Pre-departure materials;  
- Digital Voyage Log;  
- Wi-Fi on board.

FAQ 2: What is excluded in trip cost?

Accepted Answer

-Airfare;  
-Transfers from the airport to the hotel if arriving prior to Day 1 of the program;  
- Visa and passport fees (if applicable);  
- Luggage and trip cancellation insurance;  
- Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages other than those for special events and celebrations;  
- Personal expenses such as laundry and telephone calls;  
- Fuel surcharge may be applied for all bookings;  
- Mandatory Emergency Evacuation Insurance to a minimum benefit of US$ 200,000 per person;  
- Staff gratuities;  
- Kayaking, camping;  
- The cost of any applicable medical tests (such as COVID-19) or vaccinations required either by a national government before, during or after the cruise;  
- Pre- or post-cruise travel expenses.

Accepted Answer

As you'll cruise in the Antarctic summer, temperatures will average around 0°C.

FAQ 4: What is the best month to go to Antarctica?

Accepted Answer

The best time to cruise is during the Antarctic summers. Cruises are organized from December to March, where you can also expect the best wildlife viewing options. Temperatures during these months are around 0°C.

FAQ 5:  Is there any training or fitness level required for the trips?

Accepted Answer

You will be encouraged to only do what you feel you are physically capable of. A variety of levels of activity will be offered to you.

FAQ 6: What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

All requests for cancellation must be made in writing to team@adventuretripr.com. Depending on the time of your written cancellation, reservations cancelled more than 90 days prior to departure are subject to deposit forfeiture and reservations cancelled 90 days or less prior to departure are subject to forfeiture of entire price paid for the expedition cruise (cancellation fee is 100%).
