Annapurna Base Camp 9 day trekking takes you to its scenic places from low warm farm areas to reach cooler alpine hills with constant views of high Annapurna peaks. Trek leads into beautiful places enclosed by lovely green forest of tall rhododendron and pine trees with overnight stop in local villages lodge with opportunity to soak into local traditional farm life.
Further trek continues into deep gorge of Modi River to reach a wide open plateau at Annapurna Sanctuary encircled by series of high peaks of Annapurna Himalaya range.
On reaching at scenic sanctuary, where short trek leads you right in the heart of Mt. Annapurna base camp, the one and only base in whole Himalaya with facilities of nice and cozy lodge right beneath towering giant mountains.
After enjoying the time overlooking dramatic views of mighty peaks you trek back to Chomrong on the same trail, and then taking an alternative route you visit to Jhinu village to refresh in its hot natural spring before heading back to Pokhara after a great adventure and experience on Annapurna Base Camp Trekking.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek
DAY 1
Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel 1,350m/4,430ft
DAY 2
Fly to Pokhara 860m/2,788ft, drive to Nayapul 1,010m/3,313ft and trek to Ghandruk village 1,930m/6,332ft - 6hrs
DAY 3
Trek to Sinuwa 2,360m/7,742ft - 7hrs

I am originally from the Gorkha district of Nepal. I am a government trained professional trekking guide and I have guided on most of the trekking routes and tours in Nepal. I am also a travel consultant for several well-known trekking companies. It has been an exciting journey for me. I started as a porter and worked my way up to become a highly respected guide and consultant. I now run a trekking company. Nepal is a fascinating and diverse country, where just a few miles will take you into a completely different landscape. I enjoy finding new routes so that our clients can have the best possible choice. And I enjoy travelling with them as they discover my country for themselves.
